Q · Short answer

How do I add a connector to Muse?

Open the Muse app, go to Settings → Connectors, tap Connect next to the one you want, sign in to that service and review what Muse will be able to access before you approve. Connectors that aren’t in the built-in list are added as custom connectors, using the address their maker provides.

Add a built-in connector

Built-in connectors — Gmail, Notion, Stripe, Slack and the rest of Meta’s list — take under a minute:

  1. 1Open the Muse app and go to Settings → Connectors.
  2. 2Find the service and tap Connect.
  3. 3Sign in to that service with the account you want Muse to use.
  4. 4Read the permissions screen — what Muse can see and what it can do — then approve.

Connect the account you actually work in. If you have a personal and a business Gmail, Muse only sees the one you sign in with.

Add a custom connector by address

Services that aren’t in the built-in list can be added as custom connectors. The maker gives you an address to paste into Muse:

  1. 1Find the connector address on the maker’s own page. We list it in the setup section of each review, for example AI Website Builder.
  2. 2In Muse, add a connector using that address.
  3. 3Sign in the way the maker asks — some use your existing account, others an access key.
  4. 4Send a simple first request to confirm it’s working.

Only add custom connectors from makers you trust, using the address from their official page. A connector can act on your behalf.

Some services document setup for other AI tools but haven’t confirmed it inside Muse. Ubersuggest is one: its server should work as a custom connector, but we haven’t confirmed that end to end.

Test it with a first request

A good first request is specific and low-risk — something that reads before it writes:

  • Gmail: “Which customer emails from this week still need a reply?”
  • Stripe: “How did revenue this month compare with last month?”
  • AI Website Builder: “Build me a new website. My current one is example.com.”

If Muse says it can’t reach the service, open Settings → Connectors again and check that the connection finished.

Can’t find the connector you want?

  • It may not exist yet. Salesforce and HubSpot, for example, don’t appear in any public list we checked — see whether Muse works with Salesforce, HubSpot or Google Sheets.
  • It may be announced but not live. PayPal and Railway are listed as coming soon.
  • Your device may show a different list. One early report says the connector list varies by device.
  • Muse itself may not be available where you are. Meta describes it as available in the US and Canada.

For most missing apps, Zapier is the practical bridge: one connector that reaches thousands of apps.

Managing and removing connectors

Built-in connectors are managed from the same Settings → Connectors screen in Muse. Most services also let you review and revoke app access from their own security settings, which is worth checking for anything that can send, publish or spend money.

More questions

Where are connectors in the Muse app?

Under Settings → Connectors. That’s where built-in connectors are listed and managed.

What is a custom connector in Muse?

A connector that isn’t in Muse’s built-in list. You add it using an address the maker publishes, then sign in the way the maker asks.

Do I need a separate account for each connector?

Usually, yes. Most connectors sign in to an account you already have with that service, and its own plan limits still apply.

What Are Muse Connectors? How They Work in Meta Muse

Muse connectors link Muse, Meta’s AI agent, to the apps and services you already use, so it can work in them on your behalf — reading your calendar, finding an email, sending an invoice or changing your website. Built-in connectors are managed in the Muse app under Settings → Connectors; others are added by their address as custom connectors.

Can Meta Muse Build a Website?

Yes, with a connector. AI Website Builder builds a modern new website from your current one as a free preview, then changes pages, sections, photos and words when you ask, with every change previewed first and undoable. For a custom app rather than a business website, Lovable is the better fit; for an online store, start with Shopify.
